Mr. D decided to search the grocery store. He looked everywhere but
there were no Ripping Rubber Bands inside or outside the store.
There was a sale on detergent though so Mr. D bought some.
There were also a lot of Letter People there getting groceries
so Mr. D decided to talk to them.

"Rubber Bands? Nope don't know anything about them. Did you see how cheap detergent was in there though? Man, better get it while the gettin' is good. I bought five boxes of it. Don't know if I will ever use it all but I don't want to run out and then have to go spend my whole paycheck on some detergent."	"I think I can help you here buddy. I remember Mr. B telling me something about him needing a lot of rubber bands for the Button Shop. I doubt Mr. B would have stole them from Mr. R though. You never know though. Society is all messed up these days even here in Letter People Land. Go talk to Mr. B and hopefully you will get your rubber bands."	"About a week ago Mr. R was here running around ripping his dang rubber bands. I am not surprised one bit that someone stole them from him. I am a little mad I didn't think of it myself. Anyways there are no rubber bands here, if I were you I'd go back the way you came."
