What is The Joe Bug Bachelor? It's pretty much the same thing as all those other reality dating shows except it's not really a show. Nope, there is no watching involved in this show, it's all reading. Not only that, but it's all pretty much made up. The people are real but that's about it. So what we're putting out is pretty much just a collection of lies, entertaining lies, but lies none-the-less.

The idea is there are sixteen women and a Joe Bug bachelor who must pick among those sixteen for a wife. Going in he and the bachelorettes have never met. He follows a gradual process of elimination. It starts with sixteen whom he meets initially, then narrows it to nine by presenting them with a single, red rose. He will then decide on six, then four, two and, ultimately, on the one woman who captures his heart. Throughout this process, he will be going on group and individual dates to get to know the women better.

The Joe Bug Bachelor provides an in-depth, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives of each participant involved in this unique dating process. At the end of the journey, the Joe Bug bachelor will have had an unforgettable experience, made new friendships and quite possibly found true love.

Bobby, the host, guides this romantic journey, serving as friend and confidant, as the Joe Bug bachelor and the women learn more about each other. Having found true love with a co-op sweetheart who is now his wife, Bobby is in a unique position to offer sound advice during this process.
