Week 2
The Aftermath of Ryan's Departure
Ryan had been the first person voted off the island. Jacob, though,
had the second most votes and it worried him.
"Yeah, I know I am in a lot of trouble." said
Jacob. "If it wasn't for Ryan's little naked morning call I would probably
be on my way home right now. I am going to need to butter a few people up
if I plan on staying here past this week. Either that or I gotta frame
someone."
Stephen was also shocked at his receiving a vote. "I have no idea
who could have voted for me." said Stephen. "I have just been doing my
duty as lookout. What more do they want from me?"
Dog Gone It
As her luxury item, Julie has chosen to bring her two dogs with her
to the island. Several of the other survivors seemed to be getting a little
upset that Julie was using some of the very few rations they did have to
feed her dogs. Then on the third night, after the vote, when the survivors
returned to camp Julie noticed that one of her dogs was missing. She stayed
up all night looking for her dog but couldn't find it anywhere.
Follow the Aaron
The start of the second week found the survivors with a pretty well
finished camp. Just as he had done the week before Aaron started barking
out orders to everyone. This time though there was some confrontation.
"Okay, last week we had a good week." began Aaron. "We got a lot done but
we have a lot more to do. We are going to need to create a fishing team to
use the raft and catch us some fish. I want Bert and Mark to do that."
"Hold up." said Mark. "Now I know you think you are the big man around
here, but how about instead of you telling me what to do, you just let me
do whatever I want to do?"
"Um, no!" said Aaron. "I am in charge here. If it wasn't for me, we
probably wouldn't be as good off as we are now. If everyone just does
what they want then nothing will get done."
"Okay," returned Mark, "how about this. You can tell me what to do,
and I just won't do it."
"Fine, you are going to be like that, then don't help the rest of us."
said Aaron. "Todd, you and Bert go fishing then cause poor little Mark
doesn't want to."
Mark's Reflections
"Okay, the first thing I have to say is that Aaron is really getting on
my nerves. Who in God's name made him the leader? Oh wait, now I remember,
he made himself the leader. Now he is off preaching again and I think
I may have screwed myself royally. As much as he is bossing everyone around
you think someone else would stand up to him. Now everyone is probably
thinking I am just a big trouble maker cause I was tired of his s**t. I
am going to have do something or I am going to end up off this island
faster than, well everyone except Ryan. Also Stephen is getting on
my nerves still. This morning he was all whining about how someone voted
for him and he didn't do anything. Of course, he didn't do anything, he
hasn't done a d**n thing. That is why I voted for him. He isn't of much
concern though now, I need to do something about Aaron.
Girl Talk
As the second week continued it was obvious there were starting to
be little cliques forming. Aside from that the only two girls on the
island were spending more and more time together. "So did you find your
dog yet?" asked Meghan.
"No!" said Julie. "He wouldn't have just run off like that. I don't
know what could have happened."
"Sorry." said Meghan. "So Julie, I have to ask you. Do you think you'd
ever hook up with any one here?"
"You mean date someone here?" asked Julie.
"Hell No!" said Meghan. "I mean would you consider sneaking back into
the forest at night with any of these guys for a little after hours
activity."
"I don't know." said Julie. "Some of these guys seem okay. Stephen
is sweet. JB kinda looks like Ricky Martin. How about you?"
"Yeah," said Meghan, "I plan on making a few close friends while I
am here. I think I am going to start with Demoss."
"Well that is one way to make sure they don't vote you off the
island I guess." said Julie.
"Gotta have a plan." returned Meghan. "Gotta have a plan."
Desmond's Destiny
"So here is the situation. I was in the woods earlier looking for some
birds or something to try to catch when Jacob came up to me. Seems he thinks
that he is about to be voted off the island. He wants something to
be done so he isn't removed. An accident or something, so like last week,
everyone gets mad at one person and gets rid of them. We made an
agreement and I assured him he wouldn't be voted off the island this
week and in return he won't vote for me as long as he stays on the island.
Then later in the day I had a similar encounter with Mark. Mark thinks
his days are now numbered too. He feels the only way to right himself
is to remove Aaron from the island. We made an arrangement that if Aaron
is voted off this week then Mark will never vote for me as long as he
is on the island. Hmm, looks like I have some work to do."
Rumor Mill
As the second day of the second week came to an end there were quite a lot
of rumors going around the survivor's camp. Everyone was very careful about
who they told what they had heard to.
"Meghan, guess what Desmond told me," said Demoss, "he said that Aaron
thinks he is a shoe in to win. Can you believe the nerve of that guy
being so confident."
"Hey Todd," said Bert, "Desmond told me Aaron plans on voting for me
tomorrow cause he thinks I am the biggest threat to him. What a jerk."
"Gwedo, guess what I just overheard Desmond telling JB?" said Chiz,
"he said Aaron is the one who stole Ryan's clothes the other day and that
is why Ryan was screaming and woke us up. What a punk, to think his little
antics got Ryan kicked off the island."
Food Shortage
A person can only eat so many twigs and leaves before he
becomes very grumpy. This was a very big problem beginning to
haunt the survivors. The fishing had just started but wasn't producing much
fish. JB had ran out of WOW Chips after fifteen minutes on the island.
The birds and monkeys on the island were just too fast to catch.
Everyone was starting to talk about starvation when Jacob stood up and said
he had a surprise. He went into the woods and returned a few minutes later
with what appeared to be a dead, skinned animal. "Mmm, what is it?" said
Bert.
"Um .. um .." began Jacob, "some sort of baby deer I think. Yeah, I
saw it the other night and shot it with my gun. I was just saving it for
the right moment."
"Well this is certainly it!" said Bert. That night for the first time
the survivors all enjoyed a nice hardly meal. No one slept well though,
because everyone was nervous about the big vote the next day.
The Vote
The second vote was much more intense than the first. With one less
person, it was that much more likely that you could get voted off.
Here are some of the survivors telling
who they voted for and why.
Julie: I am voted for Jacob. After my dog disappeared he is the
only one who didn't consol me. He is also very mean and scary.
Aaron: I voted for Mark. He is the only one who is trying to make
me look bad and questioning my command.
Mark: I voted for Aaron. He self appointed himself leader and is
bossing everyone around way too much.
Gwedo: I voted for Aaron. I was extremely cruel what he did to
Ryan by hiding his clothes and then not fessing up to it.
Todd: I voted for Aaron. He is way too confident and bossy. It is time
for him to go home.
And with that vote, Aaron was removed from the island. For complete
voting results see the results page. See you again next week.
