  Ghost Bug wasn't always a ghost. He started off as a mild mannered reporter for the Campbell County Recorder named Pill Bug. He was investigating a hot lead one day when out of nowhere he was hit by a bus. The impact killed him but since he had unfinished business, he returned as a ghost. Ghost Bug then decided instead of being a good ghost and finishing his business so he could go to Heaven, he would instead terrorize the unsuspecting people of Cold Spring. Ghost Bug's favorite prank was to sneak into the ladies locker room and steal all their clothes while they were showering. Eventually, someone became wise to Ghost Bug and called the Ghostbusters. They captured and vaporize Ghost Bug sending him to Hell.
